ADLF20
20 years of chamber music, all around the flute.
Founded in 2004 by Canadian historical flutist Mika Putterman, ADLF is a chamber music series showcasing the flute in all its varied forms—from the Renaissance to tomorrow.
Now celebrating its 20th concert season, ADLF has become an emblematic figure in Montreal's classical music scene, welcoming over a hundred local and international musicians.
In 2022, longtime ADLF collaborator Aleks Schürmer joined Mika as co-Artistic director. An Associate Composer of the Canadian Music Centre, Aleks brings two decades of experience with historical performance, new music, and numeric arts.
